Serie A: Zaniolo lauds Okoye’s impressive performance against Parma

The Zebras ended their six-game losing streak with a solid performance at Stadio Ennio Tardini on Wednesday night.
Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was instrumental in the match for Udinese, notably stopping a penalty from Adrian Bernabé in the 69th minute. This marked Okoye’s first clean sheet of the season in Italy’s top division.
Prior to this match, the 26-year-old had conceded 18 goals over nine matches and had faced defeat in each of his previous eight games. Following the match, teammate Nicolò Zaniolo praised Okoye, describing him as a “fantastic goalkeeper.”
“It’s not the first time Maduka has saved us,” Zaniolo said in a statement on the club’s official website. “I love him; he’s a good person and a fantastic goalkeeper. Today, thanks to him, we broke our losing streak and secured a point away from home that moves us up the table.”
