EPL table: Man City suffer shock 3-1 defeat at Nottingham, Arsenal now 6pts clear
Enzo Maresca’s squad suffered their third consecutive defeat in a match that began brightly for the hosts. Inside the first 20 minutes, the team struck twice. Jair Cunha capitalized on a defensive miscue to put his side ahead 1-0, followed shortly by Liam Delap, who sprinted through the defense to score.
As the second half commenced, City appeared to mount a potential comeback when Rayan Cherki delivered a remarkable finish. However, Delap responded for Forest, adding a third goal on a quick counter-attack.
