Nigerian Streamer Recalls Father’s Tragic Murder by Armed Robbers

Nigerian streamer and skitmaker Caterefe shared a harrowing account of his father’s murder during a robbery incident many years ago in Ogun State. His father, a police officer, was killed by armed robbers disguised in military camouflage.

In a recent appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Caterefe recounted that his father had finished his shift and opted to ride in a police van to a nearby bus stop. During their journey, the vehicle encountered a traffic jam caused by an ongoing robbery. Unaware that the men in military attire were criminals, Caterefe’s father and his colleagues exited the van to investigate.

The situation quickly escalated when the robbers opened fire upon recognizing the officers’ uniforms. Caterefe revealed that the trauma of losing his father was compounded by the fact that he saw his father’s lifeless body on television. He noted that footage of the incident remains accessible on YouTube.

“I have gone through a lot of pains,” Caterefe said during the podcast. “There is no pain that will make me stop my grind.”

His recollection serves as a reminder of the dangers faced by law enforcement in their line of duty.
