Nigerian actress Doris Ogala has expressed her discontent following comments made by Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation International Ministry, who referred to her as “Jezebel.”

The remarks came shortly after Okafor withdrew an earlier apology for ending their years-long sexual relationship to marry another woman. The pastor stated that he had previously knelt to seek forgiveness due to the influence of church elders, not because of any grievance with Ogala. “Let it be known, I knelt down because of those fathers of faith and the church. Not because of any Jezebel anywhere. No, God forbid,” he said.

In response, Ogala took to Instagram, questioning Okafor’s characterization of her and asserting her determination to confront him. “Na me you call Jezebel? You don’t know who Jezebel is. Because I was pitying you, I will show you what Jezebel does,” she wrote.

In a subsequent video on her page, Ogala stated, “Chris, maybe you think this is a joke. Do you think I care about your apology? I said you will crawl and apologize to me.” She further accused Okafor of abandoning his earlier remorse, claiming that pride had led him to retract his apology.

Ogala referenced legal documents in which Okafor had admitted to their relationship, asserting that the situation was receiving public scrutiny. She concluded her remarks by expressing her disillusionment with the circumstances surrounding the matter.
