Lagos, Nigeria—Chude Jideonwo, a well-known media figure, has asserted that many married gay individuals reside in Lagos State. This statement arose during an interview with TVC in which he addressed speculation about his sexual orientation.
In a recent snippet from his appearance on The Clarity Zone Podcast, Jideonwo also expressed concern over the proliferation of ritual advertisements on social media platforms. He reported observing numerous postings that promote these practices, specifically on TikTok.

“People are advertising rituals on TikTok. I’ve seen three individuals promoting native medicine, and one woman was live from her shrine, engaging with viewers and providing a contact number,” Jideonwo remarked.
Regarding the speculation stemming from his TVC interview, he noted, “When that interview came out, people were suggesting that I might be gay. I’m like, Lagos is full of married gay people.”
