I studied law in america, from my little experience i can tell you for a fact that most of these cases are exaggerated and misleading. lets assume this was not a skit. so your wife reported you to police and the police ask you to leave the house, and then your house now automatically belongs to your wife. if you beleive this, then go to a hospital and ask for a brain replacement, cos you are not okay.
First and foremost, police have NO power to allocate or appropriate properties in family dispute, no where in the world- quote me on that. it’s only the court that give such order, after serious legal battle, and the police will only enforce. in serious marital crisis, police will only separate the couples, and this applies to: siblings, same sex couples, room mates, you name it. once there is report of violence btw 2 people in same house, the police try to separate you both temporally, and if you later settle your differences you come back together, otherwise, legal battle begins in the court, and at the end they put into consideration the: man’s assets, the wife asset, etc to determine the sharing fomular. You think if your wife is far richer, she will not lose money and property to you in cases of divorce? it is called spousal; support, NOT women support. The richer spouse is ask to support the poorer spouse. do you know the process, paper work, mortgage and time it takes to buy a house abroad? most houses are co owned by banks or private lender and they made sure you had good income to qualify you for the house purchase, and you think one policeman just have the right to say carry, the house is now yours, bcos you are a woman? if that was the case, no man for get house abroad again. na under bridge all them boris johnson for dey sleep. stop misleading young nigerian women, because they think its the facts, and then start misbehaving, only to later realize its not a bed of roses after distroying their families. why didn’t kora obidi took over justin’s properties, be it own or rent? don’t play
