Dr. Kelechi Anosike, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has presented a detailed transformation agenda aimed at improving the welfare of workers and residents of Abia State.
In his plan, Anosike emphasized several key areas, including workers’ welfare, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, infrastructure development, local government administration, economic welfare, and agriculture. He has pledged to address outstanding pensions, gratuities, and allowances while proposing a minimum wage of 90,000 naira within his first 100 days in office, should he be elected.
Additionally, Anosike committed to reinstating 10,000 workers who were previously dismissed, providing official vehicles for state directors, and enhancing the overall dignity of the workforce.
