Alex Ekubo: Daddy Freeze mocks Nathaniel Bassey over ‘failure’ to perform miracle

Media Personality Criticizes Pastor Over Late Actor’s Passing

Media personality Daddy Freeze has publicly mocked gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey for his failure to heal or resurrect the late actor Alex Ekubo.

According to reports from DAILY POST, Bassey recounted during a memorial service for Ekubo that he had been called by a pastor friend to visit the actor in the hospital. Unfortunately, Ekubo died one day before their scheduled meeting. Despite this, Bassey chose to pray with the actor’s family on the appointed day, which was the day after Ekubo’s passing.

In an Instagram live video over the weekend, Daddy Freeze responded to Bassey’s comments made during the memorial service. He questioned why Bassey did not seize the opportunity to demonstrate his faith by attempting to revive Ekubo.

“He climbed the pulpit and began to blow the trumpet,” Freeze said, referring to Bassey’s symbolic gesture. “He spoke about never having met Alex before and mentioned that his pastor friend had suggested they pray and sing for him. But Alex passed away on Monday, and they still went on Tuesday to pray and sing.”

Freeze continued, expressing skepticism about Bassey’s commitment to his faith. “What happened to all your miracles, healing, and resurrection that you post on your platforms? I would have thought this was an opportunity to show your God’s glory,” he stated.
