Alleged certificate forgery: Carter Efe mocks Babcock University’s legal action threat
Nigerian Content Creator Carter Efe Responds to Babcock University’s Legal Action
Carter Efe, a well-known Nigerian content creator and streamer, has publicly mocked Babcock University’s recent legal action against him regarding allegations of certificate forgery.
The university announced its intention to pursue legal measures against Efe for his claim of graduating with a First Class Upper degree, as reported by DAILY POST. This claim was made by Efe during an interview with Egungun of Lagos, and he later shared an alleged falsified certificate on social media platform X.
In response to the controversy, Babcock University declared its commitment to hold accountable those responsible for the supposed forgeries.
During a live streaming session, Efe appeared to downplay the university’s legal threats. He stated that he would only engage with the university if they could provide a ticket fee of 100,000 naira.
“I heard that Babcock University is looking for me; you will not see me unless you pay 100,000 naira for a ticket to see me at Babcock, and we are coming soon,” he said.
This developing situation highlights the ongoing tension between Efe and the institution.
