Alleged N69.1m fraud: Blessing CEO faces fresh EFCC charge

Social Media Influencer Faces New Fraud Charges
The Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned social media influencer Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, widely known as Blessing CEO, on Tuesday for alleged fraud amounting to 69.1 million naira.
Blessing CEO appeared before Justice R.A. Oshodi at the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, facing two charges related to obtaining money under false pretenses and theft, totaling 69,150,000 naira.
During the proceedings, prosecution counsel C.C. Okezie urged the court to continue with the arraignment, stating that the defendant had been properly served with the charges. However, defense attorney Nkama Nneka contended that the charges had only recently been delivered to her client.
In a ruling, Justice Oshodi permitted the arraignment to proceed, and the charges were read to Blessing CEO.
This marks a continued legal battle for Blessing CEO, who was previously arraigned by the EFCC on May 15, 2026, for an alleged fraud involving 36 million naira.
