Audacious Webb act that shook up Origin arena

Carl Webb made himself famous with his iconic ‘Q’ haircut during the 2000s.

Webb’s iconic ‘do, which he sported during the 2005 State of Origin series, set the stage for other players to experiment.

”He had a physical presence and aggression which was unmatched,” said V’landys.

“He showed every bit of that toughness following his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease.

“On behalf of the Commission, I extend my condolences to Carl’s family, friends, and all those who played with and knew him.”
