Ayo Fayose made Makinde Governor through me – Isaac opens up [VIDEO]

Isaac Fayose Claims Brother Facilitated Makinde’s Election in 2019

Isaac Fayose, a prominent businessman, has asserted that his elder brother, Ayo Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, played a pivotal role in the election of Seyi Makinde as the governor of Oyo State in 2019.

Reports indicate that tensions have arisen between Fayose and Makinde, primarily due to political disagreements. Amid this discord, Isaac Fayose took to Facebook to recount his brother’s involvement in Makinde’s rise to power.

“Ayo Fayose made Seyi Makinde governor through me over seven years ago. I was privy to all that transpired between them,” Isaac Fayose stated. He expressed his support for Ayo Fayose in the ongoing conflict with Makinde.

Isaac reminisced about significant meetings attended by himself, Ayo Fayose, and others that contributed to Makinde’s candidacy. “Makinde, do you remember the first cow we killed at my resort in Ring Road, Ibadan, while planning to make you governor?” he inquired. “Ayo Fayose made you Oyo State Governor. I’m not taking sides; I’m merely being fair to both of you.”

Isaac also highlighted the involvement of Victor Enahoro, son of the late Anthony Enahoro, in the discussions that ultimately led to Makinde’s election. “I approached my brother and advocated on your behalf, and he did what was necessary,” he said.

He urged Governor Makinde to extend an apology to Ayo Fayose, who has vowed to reclaim control of the state in 2027. “I understand Fayose’s anger. Because he put you in power, and you have since neglected him, he wants to take Ole Osa back,” Isaac added.
