Tega Dominic Responds to Affair Allegations
Former “Big Brother Naija” contestant Tega Dominic has addressed allegations made by Sandra, the estranged wife of TV host Frank Edoho. Sandra accused Tega and others of engaging in romantic relationships with Edoho, even in his home.
In a statement shared on her social media account, Tega clarified that her friendship with Edoho originated in mid-2022 through social media interactions, beginning with a birthday message to her mother. She emphasized that their sole meeting included her manager, Paul Ukonu.
“I honestly did not want to speak on this because I have spent a long time trying to stay away from unnecessary drama,” Tega wrote. “However, my silence is no longer helping. I have absolutely no sexual or emotional relationship with Frank Edoho.”
Tega described Edoho as a close friend and a “great guy,” stating that their connection developed after he sent birthday wishes to her mother. She noted they were already familiar with each other through social media and mutual acquaintances, and mentioned that they share a regional background.
The reality star insisted there was nothing inappropriate between them, adding, “The first and only time I hung out with Frank was with my manager present.”
She asserted her commitment to transparency, declaring, “If I ever had anything to do with Frank romantically, I would say it openly.” Tega mentioned that both she and Edoho were separated at the time, and she stressed her reputation as a candid person.
“I have worked too hard to build myself and my brand to allow false accusations to tarnish my name,” Tega said. “I owe it to my family, friends, supporters, and the reputable brands I work with to protect my reputation.”
Tega called for evidence to be presented regarding the allegations and expressed her distress over the claims, stating, “This has been very upsetting for me. Moving forward, my lawyers will handle the matter appropriately.”
