Former Big Brother Naija Contestant Victor Ikpe Reflects on Disqualification

Victor Ikpe, known as Keivo, has spoken out following his disqualification from Big Brother Naija Season 11. Ikpe was removed from the competition after a physical altercation with fellow housemate Tram, becoming the second contestant disqualified this season.

In a statement shared on Thursday, Ikpe expressed gratitude for the support he received during his time in the house. He thanked God, the show’s organizers, his family, friends, and fans for their dedication and encouragement.

“I give utmost appreciation and glory to God almighty,” Ikpe stated. “Through everything, He remained faithful.”

He acknowledged the opportunity to participate in the show, describing it as an invaluable experience. “Being in the house, sharing my story, connecting with amazing people and showing myself, I will never take that for granted,” he said.

Ikpe also took responsibility for his actions during the altercation. “My emotions took the best of me. Regardless of how strongly I felt, physical confrontation is never a solution to any situation,” he added.

He emphasized his commitment to personal growth, stating, “I will learn, become better, and do my very best to make you proud of Keivo the Challenger, the Competitor, the man of many talents, the son of Grace, the VICTOR.”

In closing, Ikpe expressed his hope to remain connected with his supporters and to use this experience as a stepping stone for the future. He ended with a message of gratitude and reflection, saying, “Happy Independence Day Nigeria.”

Ikpe’s disqualification follows that of fellow housemate Nomy, who was removed for repeatedly defying instructions and failing to comply with a punishment.
