Big Brother Naija Contestant Sparks Confusion with English Proficiency

A contestant on Big Brother Naija Season 11, known as the “Show Ya Sef” edition, has drawn attention for her command of the English language, leading to confusion among her fellow housemates.

On Sunday evening, Temi Nkem, who received her education in the United Kingdom, attempted to read instructions delivered by Big Brother. However, her grammar and articulation proved challenging for some of her co-contestants.

On the initial day of the reality show, Big Brother directed a housemate to visit the diary room to collect the weekly guidelines. Temi promptly went to retrieve the instructions, intending to relay them to the other participants.

As she attempted to communicate the guidelines, it became clear that many housemates struggled to understand her. This communication breakdown resulted in some disorder within the house.

In response to the escalating confusion, Temi was overheard expressing her frustration, asking, “Are you children that you don’t understand English? How is it possible that you don’t understand English?”
