[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s a bit hard to tell whether I have the new packaging for BeautyPro or the old – it appears in search engines with differing pack shots but I will assume the new because there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the products, which turn out to be, in my view, rather a good find.

The two serums I have here are Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Vitamin C Brightening. I haven’t used either for any length of time but am enjoying having the Hyaluronic by my laptop as I work – it never hurts to add some hydration ad hoc. The weird thing about hyaluronic acid serums is that they massage in to nothing – this one has good slip so you can keep on working it around your complexion and I’d say is less ‘disappearing’ than many others I’ve tried.

Given that both these are on offer at Ocado for £6 each (as well as other serum variants) I don’t think you can go far wrong if you love a serum. Somehow being a serum seems to give carte blanche to add a nought on whatever number you first thought of and these represent very good value as an extra step in your routine. Hyaluronic is taken from soybean, with additional ingredients of rose and chamomile. They have sparse INCIs which I like to see – they’re not full of unnecessary ‘marketing doses’ – just the stuff that does the job. The Vitamin C Serum has less slip than the hyaluronic as you might expect, and takes extracts of blueberry, yuzu and sea buckthorn to provide brightening, firming and hydration. If you’re not tapped into Ocado, you can find these at Sephora (in the different packaging) but they’re £8.95 HERE, which isn’t awful either!
