Benue Deputy Speaker Congratulates Governor on Three-Year Anniversary
The Deputy Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Lami Danladi Lawrence Ogenyi, congratulated Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia on the occasion of his third anniversary in office. In a goodwill message, Ogenyi commended Alia’s leadership and commitment to the development of the state.
Ogenyi referred to the past three years as a period of “purposeful governance,” highlighting the governor’s courage and dedication to rebuilding and repositioning Benue State for sustainable growth. She noted that Alia’s administration has provided hope to the citizens through a leadership approach focused on service and improving the welfare of the people.
According to Ogenyi, the government has made significant progress in critical sectors over the last three years, attributing these achievements to the governor’s determination to foster good governance throughout the state.
“As Deputy Speaker, I acknowledge the strides recorded under your administration in critical sectors and your unwavering determination to deliver good governance to the people of Benue State,” she stated.
The Deputy Speaker further praised the governor’s resilience and leadership, asserting that his efforts have laid a stronger foundation for the state’s progress. She expressed her prayers for continued divine guidance, wisdom, and strength for Alia in his leadership role.
“On this remarkable milestone, I pray that God grants you greater wisdom, strength, and divine direction as you continue to lead our dear state to greater heights,” Ogenyi added.
