The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of 279 examination results that were previously withheld for further investigation. This disclosure was made in a statement issued on Thursday.
The release of these results follows ongoing inquiries into suspected cases of examination malpractice. JAMB has indicated that some results were canceled outright due to established evidence of misconduct, while others have been released after finding no initial evidence against the candidates involved.
Results from examination centers that exhibited suspicious activity or that received adverse reports are still being withheld for further investigation. Should sufficient evidence of malpractice be found in these cases, the corresponding results will also be canceled.
Candidates whose results are still pending are encouraged to check their status by sending the message “UTMERESULT” to either 55019 or 66019, using the phone number registered for the examination.
