Brown’s hilarious tribute to Joey as Eels sink Cowboys

When his side needed him to step up the most, Mitchell Moses did his job in the final minutes, controlling the match and scoring.

Eels finished 24-16 winners.

Dylan Brown put in a monster effort in defence, denying Chad Townsend just before the second half to keep the scores level.

Speaking to the half post-game, Andrew Johns asked where the defensive performance came from.

“The great mate, the great, you bro, I learnt it off you, I’ve been watching a few clips off you back in the day,” Brown said on Nine’s coverage.

Johns replied: “When I was working with you, you couldn’t tackle a baked dinner.”

“Stop it, maybe it was you leaving, maybe that toughened me up,” Brown quipped back.
