President Muhammadu Buhari, on Sunday, returned to Abuja from London in the United Kingdom after embarking on a two-week medical check-up.
Naija News reports the Presidential jet which conveyed Buhari, landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, around 8:30 pm.
Recall that Presidential media aide, Femi Adesina had on Monday announced the planned medical trip in a statement made available to newsmen.
Adesina said the medical trip is a routine one and Buhari, who left for London on October 31, 2022, is expected back in Nigeria in the second week of November.
He had written: “President Muhammadu Buhari leaves for London, United Kingdom, October 31, 2022, for routine medical check-up.
“He returns to the country in the second week of November 2022.”
Buhari left for London after attending a security council meeting and a Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers in Owerri, Imo State.
The trip was one of the several medical trips the President had embarked on since assuming office in 2015; spending at least 212 days abroad.
