Burna Boy became the first African artist to take the stage during a World Cup Final Halftime Show, marking a significant moment for African representation in global events. His performance featured the official song for the 2026 World Cup, titled “Dai Dai,” alongside Colombian pop icon Shakira, energizing the crowd at New York Stadium.
The Halftime Show also included performances by several other prominent artists, including Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna, and Coldplay.
