CDCFIB announces physical screening, document verification for recruitment applicants

Civil Defence Board Initiates Next Phase of Recruitment for 2024/2025

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the start of the next phase in its recruitment process for 2024/2025, which will include physical screenings and document verification for shortlisted candidates.

In a statement released by Secretary Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (retired), the Board informed applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025 to log onto the official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20 to check their application status.

Applicants must use the application number generated during their initial registration to access the portal. Those who are successful in this phase will need to upload their credentials and choose their preferred dates and locations for the physical screening.

To ensure their applications are not disqualified, the Board advised candidates to carefully follow all instructions provided on the recruitment portal.

Jibril emphasized that the recruitment process is entirely free and cautioned applicants against making payments to any individuals or groups claiming to assist with the process, including shortlisting, venue allocations, document uploads, or final selections. “The recruitment process is completely free. No fee should be paid to any individual, agent, group, or organization for any aspect of the exercise,” he stated.

The Board also warned the public to disregard fraudulent recruitment messages, fake links, and unauthorized individuals claiming to represent the CDCFIB.

All official information regarding the recruitment exercise will be disseminated exclusively through the Board’s recruitment portal and other approved official channels.

The CDCFIB reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent, credible, and merit-based recruitment process that adheres to established guidelines and regulations.
