Portable Challenges Terry G to Boxing Match
Nigerian singer Portable has publicly invited fellow musician Terry G to participate in a celebrity boxing match. The challenge was made during an interview on Channels Television’s “Robbin Minds” program on Sunday.
When asked by the host about any celebrities he would like to face, Portable expressed a desire to fight Terry G. “Me, I want to fight Terry G,” he stated.

The interviewer then inquired whether Portable preferred facing another artist, VDM. However, Portable remained focused on Terry G. “Is Terry G that I want to fight. I won blow am,” he said, indicating his belief that the match could rejuvenate Terry G’s career. “If Terry G fights me one on one in boxing, I swear to God, he will rise again. People will remember him again.”
This announcement has sparked curiosity among fans. Portable, known for his past celebrity boxing bouts, has previously faced notable figures, including actor Charles Okocha and singers Speed Darlington and Carter Efe.
Terry G is recognized as one of Nigeria’s prominent street music artists, having gained fame in the early 2000s with hits such as “Free Madness,” “Akpako,” and “Run Mad.”
