Carter Efe, a prominent Nigerian streamer and victorious participant in a recent celebrity boxing match, has expressed frustration over the delayed payment of his ₦50 million prize.

Efe secured his victory against fellow entertainer Portable during a bout held on Friday, where he emerged as the champion. Following the match, Portable claimed that the fight was predetermined by the organizers, alleging that the decision was made to circumvent a ₦23 billion payout to fans who placed bets on his win.

In a video shared on social media, Efe addressed the issue of the unpaid prize money. “They have not given me my money. I haven’t seen the ₦50 million. I nearly put my life on the line for that fight,” he said. “They need to pay me the ₦50 million.”

The situation has captured attention as both fans and participants await clarification from the event’s organizers regarding the outstanding payment.
