So, I took the plunge and even after several day’s use have no bad effects. In fact, this is probably the freshest feeling eye cream you’ll come across – those little spheres are micro-encapsulated white camellia oil that burst at the touch (sadly no popping candy feeling!) as you pat the cream around your eye area. The rest is made up of (among other things) algae extracts and tetrapeptides. It’s too soon to say whether it works on dark circles but I’m of the view that nothing much does. However, it does do a mighty hydration job that both looks and feels rather wonderful.
I’m pleased to see that the brand recommends a ‘rice grain’ amount for each eye – it’s so easy for brands to suggest you use more than you need so you have to repurchase more quickly, but I think we can agree it would be hard to apply less than a rice grain! If you love an eye cream, I would easily recommend this for an instant freshener and a hydration veil that lasts to the next day. An easy win for eye product fans. It’s £55 HERE (at Flannels and I’ve linked there because they’re flagging – at the time of writing – 20% off everything with code FF20 but it ends at midnight tonight – Wednesday).
