‘Cheating doesn’t mean anything’ — Seun Kuti says he won’t leave wife

Afrobeats artist Seun Kuti has stated he would remain committed to his wife even in the event of infidelity, asserting that cheating “doesn’t mean anything” in a relationship.

Kuti made the remarks during a discussion about marriage and the responses of couples to infidelity. “If my wife cheats on me, I won’t leave her because it doesn’t mean anything,” he said.

The musician criticized the reactions of some African men toward infidelity, arguing that cheating can be a common occurrence in relationships. He remarked, “African men are forming as if cheating isn’t a normal thing in a relationship.”

In addition to his views on marriage, Kuti addressed matters concerning his estate. He specified his sister’s child as the individual he considers his “real blood” and the only one who would have access to his properties. “The only person that can have access to my properties is my sister’s child because that’s the real blood,” he stated.
