Details of pre-nuptial agreement Cristiano Ronaldo signed with Georgina revealed
Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Saudi football club Al Nassr, and his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez, have tied the knot in a private ceremony in Lisbon. The couple married on Tuesday, surrounded only by their children and a small group of four witnesses.
Notably absent from the ceremony were Ronaldo’s mother and three siblings. The wedding was officiated by Maria Manuel Ferreira de Campos Folhadela de Oliveira, a registrar who traveled from Porto to conduct the civil service in Cascais.
Reports indicate that Ronaldo, 41, and Rodriguez, 32, have opted to keep their assets separate as part of their pre-nuptial agreement, which was finalized on August 10 at a public notary’s office in Lisbon.
Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Noticias has obtained and published a copy of the marriage certificate, which includes Ronaldo’s full name, age, birthplace, and the names of his parents, including his late father, José Dinis. Rodriguez’s details, including her birthplace in Buenos Aires, Argentina, were also documented.
The couple has chosen to retain their pre-marriage surnames, distinguishing their arrangement from common practices in the UK, where newly married women traditionally adopt their husband’s surname.
