Chaos has unfolded in Aba, Abia State, after five soldiers were killed.

Residents living near Obikabia Junction in Aba have gone online to raise alarm after soldiers allegedly raided homes in the neighbourhood and picked up young people.

A medical doctor cried out on X. She said Nigerian soldiers invaded her home at about 5am this morning, May 31.

According to her, the soldiers broke their gate, then proceeded to break their door before picking up her younger siblings who were at home with her father.

She said only her aged father was spared.

She added that her brother is just 15 and has no affiliations to unknown gunmen.

She stated that she has no idea where her siblings were taken and no one has supplied them with information.
