e.l.f. Camo Colour Corrector – The Blue One! | British Beauty Blogger

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve been dying to try the e.l.f. Camo Colour Correctors, in particular the blue one. It’s just so…. blue! I don’t really use concealers as such – skin is skin, and I’ll let it be, but the blue shade which deletes orange or sallow tones gave me such a strong call that I had to give it a go.

There are actually five tones on the corrector roll call and they follow the colour wheel basics. Yellow corrects pink, green corrects red, orange and peach correct blue, blue corrects orange. So, under eyes tend to have blue or yellow tones, cheeks are probably the most likely to have pink tones and pigmentation can be pink, peach or orange.

You may want to use more than one shade, depending upon what you’re looking to correct but consider these your SOS for issues outside of your skin’s natural presentation, such as sunburn (green) or brightening (yellow). Blue is its own saviour to add to bases that are a little too orange.

The Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint (bottom swatch) I showed you yesterday was too deep in tone so I’ve added a couple of dabs of the e.l.f. Camo Colour Corrector in blue into it by mixing in my hand. The top swatch is the result.

It looks even more obvious in this picture where one half of my face (left) is wearing the tint with no colour adjustment and the other with the adjustment. It’s most noticeable on my forehead.
