E-Money gifts Carter Efe N50m after victory over Portable

Lagos Socialite E-Money Awards N50 Million to Comedian Carter Efe for Boxing Victory
LAGOS — Emeka Okonkwo, known as E-Money, has fulfilled his promise to award comedian Carter Efe N50 million following Efe’s unanimous decision win over singer Habeeb Okikiola, commonly known as Portable.
The prize was announced at the “Chaos in the Ring 4” event held at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. E-Money confirmed the cash reward after the event upon being prompted by Ezekiel Adamu, Chief Executive Officer of Balmoral Group Promotions.
“We put our money where our mouth is, and so congratulations Carter on your win. N50 million for you,” E-Money said.
Adamu praised the event, stating it met expectations for entertainment and competition. “We promised Chaos in the Ring and we have delivered very entertaining fights tonight. There is more coming, thanks to everyone that made this a success and to the fighters for the great display,” he noted.
The highly anticipated match between Carter Efe and Portable attracted significant attention, following weeks of public challenges and exchanges between the two entertainers. Portable had expressed confidence prior to the bout, aiming for a third boxing title after previous victories over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.
During the fight, however, Carter Efe effectively utilized his height and reach advantage, dominating the ring over three rounds. All three judges scored the contest 30–27 in favor of Efe, solidifying his status as the latest celebrity boxing champion.
