Turinui, now a commentator for Nine and Stan Sport, says Jones has never suffered fools.

“There’s never any doubt who the boss is,” Turinui told Wide World of Sports.

“There’s a boss, right? There’s a boss that works harder than anyone else, there’s a boss that has a thirst for knowledge.

“So, if you’ve got ideas, he is hugely open to them, but you had better have done your due diligence, you better have done your homework, and you better have dotted every ‘i’, because if you try and bullshit him, if you try and get one over him, he knows everything.”
