EPL: Ajayi talks up Hull City’s performance in Brentford draw
The Tigers delivered a strong performance following their recent 1-0 loss to Fulham. Hull City took the lead in the 24th minute with a goal from Oli McBurnie. However, the visitors equalized in the second half through Dango Ouattara.
Notably, defender Semi Ajayi played a vital role in Hull City’s effort during the tightly contested match. He received both the Premier League and Hull City’s Player of the Match awards for his contributions.
Ajayi expressed a sense of optimism about the team’s response after their previous defeat. “It’s important that we had a good bounce back from last week; we did that,” he told Sky Sports. He acknowledged the disappointment of not securing all three points but emphasized that earning a point at home is a positive outcome.
