EPL: He’ll give you problem – Steven Gerrard warns Alonso about Chelsea star

Former England midfielder Steven Gerrard has suggested that Brazilian international Estevao may present a selection dilemma for Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso upon the anticipated return of Joao Pedro from injury.

Estevao made his first Premier League start of the season last weekend, contributing to Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. His performance has drawn praise, highlighting his potential impact on the team’s lineup.

“He is exciting and great to watch,” Gerrard said during an appearance on The Overlap. He noted Estevao’s eagerness to impress Alonso and pointed out that the return of Pedro could complicate the manager’s choices, especially considering the talent of Pedro Neto as well.
