EPL: Paul Parker names two players Man Utd should offload this summer

Former Manchester United Player Calls for Transfer Moves
LONDON — Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has urged the club to consider transferring Harry Maguire and Mason Mount during the upcoming summer transfer window.
In an interview with Metro, Parker expressed that Maguire’s tenure at Old Trafford has come to an end. He recommended that the club also prioritize the sale of Mount.
“Maguire has had his time, and he has been through a lot of managers,” Parker stated. He emphasized the potential of younger players, including Yoro and Heaven, and mentioned that keeping Maguire could impede their development.
On Mount, who joined the club from Chelsea in 2023, Parker suggested, “If a substantial offer comes in for Mount, you have to take it. He has not played a lot of football for United and has been absent from recent matches.”
Maguire, who transferred from Leicester City in 2019, has faced scrutiny for his performances in recent seasons. As speculation mounts regarding both players’ futures, United’s management will need to weigh Parker’s comments amid the ongoing assessment of the team’s needs.
