Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has spoken out regarding recent rumors about a romantic involvement with actress and reality star Bamike Olawunmi-Adenibuyan, commonly known as Bambam, following their collaboration on a film.

In an interview with BBC Igbo, Arukwe dismissed claims of a personal relationship, emphasizing that he maintained professional boundaries while filming. He noted that prior to any scenes necessitating physical contact, he proactively discussed these boundaries with Olawunmi-Adenibuyan to ensure that no issues arose concerning her marriage.

“Before I touched her, I asked her if there was any way I could touch her that her husband wouldn’t like or that might cause problems at home,” Arukwe stated.

The actor also refuted allegations of off-screen intimacy, clarifying that he had never met Olawunmi-Adenibuyan prior to the project.

“That movie was the first time I had ever met her. But people started saying we slept together and were dating, which was completely false,” he added.
