Nigerian filmmaker, Ugezu Ugezu, has said that Africans have not known peace ever since modern women decided to” unmask the mystery of the masquerade.” 

In a post shared on Instagram, Ugezu opined that African ancestors loved women and even gave them political powers. He stated that the masquerade was the only thing ancestors hid from women and that peace eluded everyone after modern women decided to unmask the mystery of the masquerade.
