Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke with the stage name Davido has disclosed how he was able to handle the death of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Speaking during an interview with CNN, the singer disclosed that the passing of his son affected his work.

Davido, who just released his fourth studio album, Timeless, noted that when he lost his son, he had just finished his album but had to take a step back.

He said; “Before my son passed, we had finished the album. But it was a tragic situation and I really had to calm myself down and take a step back.”

The OBO crooner, however, attributed his resounding comeback to the outpouring of love and support he got from his family, friends, and fans.

“Nobody would want that and everybody knows that I and Chioma didn’t deserve that.
