Former Real Madrid coach Álvaro Arbeloa is reportedly in discussions with Fulham FC regarding the vacant managerial position at the Premier League club.
The Athletic has reported that Fulham is actively seeking a replacement for Marco Silva, who recently departed the club to become the head coach at Benfica. Silva’s departure follows the announcement that José Mourinho is set to return to Real Madrid, where he will succeed Arbeloa.
Álvaro Arbeloa was appointed as Real Madrid’s head coach after Xabi Alonso was dismissed in January. Arbeloa, 43, has an extensive playing history, having played for notable clubs including Real Madrid, Liverpool, and West Ham United.
Fulham is working to finalize a new appointment as they prepare for the upcoming season.
