Funeral Arrangements Announced for Actor Alexx Ekubo

The family of actor Alexx Ekubo has shared the funeral details following his death from kidney cancer. In a statement posted on the actor’s social media accounts, the Ekubo-Okwaraeke family reflected on his life, describing him as a man filled with love, faith, generosity, and compassion.

“With profound sorrow, yet gratitude to God for a life so beautifully lived and deeply impactful, we officially announce the funeral arrangements of our beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and colleague, Alexx Ekubo-Okwaraeke,” the statement read.

The family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support they have received during this difficult time. They noted that Alexx was deeply cherished and that his kindness and positive influence will be remembered.

• Funeral Service:
  Date: Thursday, June 18, 2026
  Venue: Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, Abia State

• Interment:
  Date: Thursday, June 18, 2026
  Venue: 7 Ekubo-Okwaraeke Avenue, Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village, Arochukwu, Abia State

• Reception:
  Immediately following the interment at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, Abia State.
  Dress Code: White
