FCT projects: No preferential treatment for judiciary – Wike

Wike Rejects Claims of Favoritism Towards Judiciary
ABUJA — Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), dismissed allegations of preferential treatment toward the judiciary during a press briefing on Tuesday.
Wike emphasized that his administration is committed to providing support across all sectors in the capital city. His remarks followed an inspection of various projects set for commissioning in conjunction with President Bola Tinubu’s upcoming third anniversary celebration.
“To ensure the independence of the judiciary, it is essential to deliver the necessary infrastructure, welfare, and working conditions,” Wike stated. He added that the administration is also focusing on basic necessities such as water and education.
The minister highlighted that ongoing projects throughout the FCT demonstrate an inclusive development agenda, particularly benefiting rural and satellite communities that have not seen significant infrastructure development in decades.
