The Live In Concert recorded success in various aspects of the event. The most salient of the event’s success being the stage. Mounted like paradise on earth, it was adorned with dazzling lights and hypnotic screens. Generally, the ambience of the concert was riveting, with branding props strategically placed to pull attendees in.

The event was rife with notable moments, starting with the collaborative efforts from DJs and hype men. In no particular order, Tolu Daniels, Livewire, DJ Latitude, Jaybreeze, DJ Tgarbz, DJ Shawn, all registered their names in the hearts of the audience with a phenomenal display.

The two primary hosts of the night, Ehiz and Kemi Smallz, were seamless on stage as they bantered effortlessly. Dancers turned up in between different sets to display beguiling choreographic dance moves.

There were performances from some upcoming acts too including Shayo Davids, Toje, Smada, TMP, Tobi Peters, and several others. One of the striking performances came from the main show opener, Elmina, her confidence shined through the mic as she sang.

Rexxie’s set was breathtaking, his reputation remains solid on the streets. When 1da Banton went on stage, the audience was electrified. He was one of headliners of the night, thrilling fans with his recent popular single No Wahala.

Lojay came out in his rockstar outfit and he held the audience’s attention as he performed fan favorites like Tonongo and Monalisa. WurlD and the band closed their set with a rendition of Davido’s Sweet In The Middle. It would be completely understandable if Victony’s performance of Pray brought you to tears.

Every headliner performed with a band – some artists performing with their personal band – and each artist’s set came with a custom experience.

Fireboy DML was more than prepared for the night when he stepped out wearing a golden yellow jacket and leather pants. He was one of the biggest stars of the night and the crowd raved on while he performed songs like Champion and King. Fireboy’s performance came after popular duo, Ajebo Hustlers, took onlookers on a quick Kpos lifestyle tour. Their chemistry was palpable and when they performed Barawo, it was like an anthem.

Wande Coal came out guns blazing. His set was an unending journey of hit songs, ranging from his days in Mohits to recent times. He moved around the stage with an infectious energy, showing off his different dance moves. The entire audience was enthralled so much that nobody wanted Wande Coal’s set to end. His backup singer came with all the smoke too, complementing Wande Coal unerringly.

The night had peaked with Wande Coal gracing the stage but it was simply not enough for attendees. They wanted more. And that was precisely what they got when Ayra Starr came to close the night. She performed alongside an all-female band. She brought a fan on stage to perform Ckay’s part in Beggie Beggie.

The Live In Concert was put together by Panda Entertainment. It was chiefly sponsored by Kuda Bank and was supported by Lagos Ride, Pulse, BellaNaija, Cool FM, Temple Live, MTVBase, WeTalkSound, Boomplay Nigeria, and Guardian Life.
