Five from SEC named Baseball Academic All-America®

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 7, 2023)—–Five Southeastern Conference baseball student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-America® Team, according to an announcement Wednesday by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Vanderbilt outfielder RJ Schreck was named to the first team, while Ole Miss catcher Calvin Harris, Arkansas outfielder Jared Wegner and Kentucky outfielder Jackson Gray were named to the second team. Tennessee pitcher Chase Dollander was named to the third team.

The aforementioned players were named to the Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, earlier this spring. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
