“Flying is a big deal now” Passenger shows empty waiting area at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (video)

The hike in airfare has discouraged travellers from going by air and this was highlighted by a video shared online.

A traveller was surprised to see an empty waiting area at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.

The airport, which usually has bodies milling around, was almost empty, save for about two travellers.

“Flying is now a big deal,” the person filming is heard saying as she went round to show the decline in human activities at the airport.
