Governor Uba Sani vows to confront banditry , make Kaduna a peaceful home

During a recent visit to a couple who were recently rescued from kidnapping, Malam Ahmed Abubakar Zakka and his family, officials from the Kaduna State Government expressed their commitment to providing ongoing support and assistance.
Zakka, his wife Nafisah, and their daughter Fatima are currently receiving medical care at a government safe house after their discharge from the hospital. The visit was detailed in a post on the Kaduna State Government’s verified Facebook page on Tuesday.
“I was encouraged by their progress and remain hopeful for their full recovery, supported by our commitment to ensuring they receive the care they need,” the post stated.
The government has pledged to provide the family with a permanent home and cover all medical expenses, as well as offer sustained psychosocial care to assist them in rebuilding their lives and regaining a sense of security.
Officials emphasized that the family’s freedom underscores a broader commitment to combatting banditry and criminal activity through enhanced cooperation with security agencies and strengthened community engagement. “Every resident deserves to live without fear,” the post concluded, affirming the government’s intention to uphold this responsibility.
