Gun’s ‘moonwalk’ stunner after Moses rocked

Herbie Farnworth has left the rugby league world in awe after his sensational celebration before scoring in the Broncos massive 54-10 win over the Eels.

Right on half-time, a Deine Mariner intercept set up Farnworth to run away but Mitchell Moses gave chase. The halfback couldn’t hold on, with Farnworth keeping his feet before running backwards and putting his finger to his lips.

Rugby league legends Cameron Smith and Paul Vautin were left in hysterics.

“You mug lair, how good!” Vautin said on the Nine broadcast.

Smith: “Did he just moonwalk?

“I think he moonwalked that into the in-goal.”

While trying to chase down Farnworth, Moses’ head connected with the centre’s leg, causing a concussion that ruled him out for the rest of the game. Post-match it was revealed Moses has a fractured cheek from that incident and another earlier in the game, with his season likely over.

Farnworth’s try made it 24-0 at half-time, with the other four-pointers coming from Adam Reynolds, Billy Walters and Deine Mariner.
