How Juju man tried to cast spell on me but failed – Nathaniel Bassey (VIDEO)

Nigerian gospel minister and pastor Nathaniel Bassey recently shared an encounter with an alleged traditional spiritualist, whom he referred to as a “juju man,” who attempted to cast a spell on him.
The incident took place on an express road and was the second occasion the same individual had approached Bassey, according to his account. During a worship session, Bassey described how the man knocked on his car and began reciting what Bassey identified as enchantments in an effort to influence his actions.
“I just stood there and laughed,” Bassey said, recalling how he responded by citing Bible verses about divine protection. Among the verses he referenced was one that states, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.”
Throughout the incident, the alleged spiritualist remained at the scene, seemingly anticipating that the spell would take effect. Bassey countered this attempt by invoking another biblical passage: “There is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.” He expressed confidence that the enchantment would not succeed.
Eventually, Bassey exited his vehicle and instructed the man to leave the area immediately. He later reflected on the incident with regret that he did not detain the individual for law enforcement.
While recounting the experience, Bassey emphasized that his intention was not to glorify evil but to highlight the reality of spiritual wickedness and the strength of faith. He noted that this was the second encounter with the “juju man,” describing the man’s repeated attempts as a troubling sign of malevolence.
“I’m not saying this to boast,” Bassey stated. “While we do not glorify the devil, there is wickedness in the world.”
