“I abandon myself for work,” Akindele admitted, noting that she does not regularly style her hair and rarely attends parties. She emphasized her intense focus on her career, explaining, “I put everything into work—research, writing, and production.”
When asked about her consistent record-breaking achievements, including her latest film, Behind The Scene, which grossed 2.7 billion naira, Akindele acknowledged the effort required to reach such heights. “It is a lot of work—a lot of giving your all,” she said.
Reflecting on her career, Akindele noted the sacrifices she has made. “It was a lot of sacrifices for me,” she stated, adding that only recently has she begun to focus on self-care, incorporating a skincare routine into her life.
