Nollywood Actress Rosy Meurer Denies Friendship with Tonto Dikeh

Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has publicly refuted claims that she was friends with fellow actress Tonto Dikeh before marrying Olakunle Churchill. Meurer’s comments come in response to ongoing speculation surrounding her relationship with Churchill, which some social media users allege involved an affair with Dikeh’s then-husband.

In 2017, Meurer was accused of being involved with Churchill during his marriage to Dikeh, with whom he shares a son. At the time, Meurer maintained that she had no romantic ties to Churchill and described the couple as family friends. In a previously recorded video, she stated, “I remain under big church foundation, and he remains family to me. His wife remains family to me. We’ve hung out together before, and I don’t see a big deal there.”

However, following her marriage to Churchill in 2021, Meurer faced renewed scrutiny, with internet users revisiting the previous allegations. In a recent Instagram video, she firmly denied that any friendship ever existed between her and Dikeh. “I was never my husband’s ex’s friend, nor talk of best friend. I have never met her. She doesn’t have my number, and I don’t have hers,” Meurer asserted. She challenged anyone with evidence of her friendship with Dikeh to come forward.

Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill were married in August 2015, welcoming their son, King Andre, in February 2016. The couple finalized their divorce in July 2017 amid accusations of domestic violence and infidelity.
