Martins Otse, known online as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has publicly addressed his falling out with popular Nigerian singer Davido.
In a recent video that has gained traction on social media, Otse attributed the rift to Davido’s reaction following a rejected offer of 50 million naira to promote his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State.

According to Otse, the dispute has sparked considerable speculation among fans and observers. He recounted part of his conversation with Davido in pidgin English, saying, “Davido and his crew offered me money, when they called me and said to meet the uncle governor for 50 million naira. I told them no.”
He continued, “The media often overlooks important details. The last time Davido and I spoke was related to a situation involving a young man he had promised $5,000 in Ghana. After receiving criticism for my involvement, I reached out to him via direct message, requesting payment for the young man. They eventually settled the matter.”
