I was millionaire before I met him – Paul Okoye’s wife, Ivy denies marrying singer for money

Ivy Ifeoma Advises Women on Financial Independence in TikTok Video

Ivy Ifeoma, the wife of Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, has ignited discussions on relationships, money, and financial independence through a recent video shared on her TikTok page.

In the video, Ifeoma urged single women not to prioritize marrying wealthy men as their primary life goal. While acknowledging that entering a relationship with someone from a prosperous background can present opportunities, she emphasized the importance of women focusing on their own financial stability.

Addressing misconceptions about her marriage to Okoye, Ifeoma stated that she was already a millionaire before their union, countering claims that she married him for financial gain due to their significant age difference.

“This is my take on the idea of marrying a rich man,” Ifeoma said. “Before you come for me, know that I was a millionaire before I met this man.”

She added, “Marrying a rich man should not be anybody’s primary goal. Why would you even want to have a primary goal of marrying someone because they are rich? At the end of the day, it is their money, not your money.”

Ifeoma acknowledged that a wealthy partner can provide beneficial opportunities, but encouraged women to focus on their own financial success. “Don’t get me wrong, marrying rich is a very good add-on because it can open doors of opportunities for you. But what I will tell you to do as a woman is to get rich.”

She concluded by stating that successful individuals often seek partners who are ambitious and industrious, encouraging single women to invest in their personal development.
